In order to further develop other professional and corporate relationships for the benefit of her clients, Susan E. Hood CLU, established Hood's Financial Fitness Network on June 30th 1997.
Our major focus is providing sound Financial and Estate planning. We believe that the planning process is done in partnership with our clients.
We arrange financial products that help our clients either protect those they love or the businesses they have built from catastrophic risks.
We are currently able to arrange financial products that help our clients build wealth in a predominately creditor proof, probate proof and whenever possible tax-sheltered basis.
Over the years, we have been asked and have happily referred our clients and friends to other professionals, mortgage providers, employment agencies and even on occasion a bank or two. We believe that it is important to match our clients to their specific needs and requirements as best as we can.
Susan has been an Estate and Financial Planning practitioner in the Quinte area since January 1991. Prior to her move to Belleville, Susan was practicing in Toronto. She attended courses on family law and taxation and completed her CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation in 1998 as well as attaining her CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation in June 1999.
Whilst in Toronto, Susan was active in the Toronto Life Underwriteres Association, sitting on two committess and is a past president of Toronto Women's Sailing Association. Susan continued her association involvement here in the the Quinte area and was formerly a Vice President of Advocis, Bay of Quinte division, which is part of a national financial organization which governs ethical practice of financial planners under it's banner.
In June 1997, Susan established Hood's Financial Fitness Network. This has enabled her to further develop other professional and corporate relationships for the benefit of her clients. In 2003, Hood's Financial Fitness Network aligned with and became an affiliate of Investia Financial Services Inc. Through this affiliation, Susan has received the training and expertise required to become one of Eastern Ontario's recognized leaders in the new field of Living Benefits. She has been instrumental in introducing Lifestyles Financial Risk Assessment to the Quinte region.
