What is Life Insurance?
Life Insurance in a necessary part of protecting your family. Upon your death, your named beneficiary receives the full benefit of the policy which can help replace the loss of the secondary income, help pay for continuing expenses etc.
Term Insurance
Term insurance is coverage over a set period of time, ususally 10, 15, 20 or 75 years. This type of insurance is usually cheaper than other more comprehensive coverage and are convertable and renewable on or before the renewal date at which time the premium usually increases.
Universal Life Insurance?
Universal Life (UL) is permanent insurance with investment options embedded in the policy. There are many different strategies which UL can be used for including tax-sheltered savings and wealth transfers.
Permanent Insurance
Permanent Insurance is basic insurance that lasts you your entire life (i.e. there is no fixed term). The advantages of this type of coverage is that your premiums usually remain the same for the entire length of the policy.
